AFY is a member of The Astronomical League

Membership in AFY includes your membership in The Astronomical League and a subscription to their magazine. The Astronomical League is a federation of amateur astronomy groups like AFY. Their web site is packed with information about observing programs.

	Astronomy Picture of the Day APOD is a daily article along with a stunning photograph of some astronomy-related topic. Each day is a basic astronomy lesson of some sort. The photos are the very best that I've seen anywhere. This site is maintained by a couple of people from NASA so it is all real science.
