Scout Badges

This is a collection of documents outlining badge/patch requirements for various scouting programs.  This is not an official site of any of the scouting organizations.  This is for members who volunteer to teach and for visitors to get an idea of what to expect.

Anyone with more up-to-date information should email me at afy@columbus.rr.com so I can incorporate that data into this site.

Visitors should keep in mind that some of the programs are limited to what can be realistically accomplished in one evening.  The Sky Patch requirements are very simple and are meant only as an introduction to astronomy.  On the other hand, the Astronomy Merit Badge is much more detailed and there are parts that cannot be done in a dark parking lot out in the country.

Please note that, for simplicity, Tiger Scouts, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and Boy Scouts are all referred to here as Boy Scouts.
